Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.”1 chronicles 4: 10
For the year that lies ahead of you:
- I pray that when you sail through life’s uncertainties, that the Lord assures you of the certainty of His unchanging love for you.
- I pray that when you face life’s disappointments and heartaches, that the Lord reveals to you His comfort and grace.
- I pray that when you encounter life’s temptations, that the Lord strengthens you, helps you not to compromise and lose your way.
- I pray that when you proceed with your daily worries, concerns and pursuits, that the Lord opens your eyes to His way, His purpose and His will for you to follow.
- I pray that when you walk in the midst of trouble, the Lord will revive you.
- I pray that when blessings seem far away that you will be blessed in the place God has put you in, that your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
- I pray that when safety is at its lowest, that you be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
- I pray that when the enemies who rise up against come from every direction that they will be defeated before you.
- I pray that when prosperity dies away, the Lord will grant you abundant prosperity in your children and in your work.
- I pray that when the heavens seem closed that the Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, and to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.
- I pray that when you are at your lowest, the Lord will make you the head, not the tail and you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
- I pray when you fall, you will rise up again.
- I pray when you sit in darkness, the Lord will be your light and shines on you.
- I pray when your heart pounds and when your lips quiver at the sound of trouble and when decay creeps into your bones, and when your legs tremble, that the Lord grants you the strength to wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the life of the enemy that is invading your life.
- I pray when you are scared because the fig tree does not bud, and when there are no grapes on the vines, and when the olive crop fails and when the fields produce no food, and when there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, that the Lord grants you the power to yet rejoice in Him.
Because
The day for building your walls will come,
The day for extending your boundaries will happen
And The Lord will perfect that which concerns you
For He is a good God and His mercy endures forever.
